1) Do Unit 11 Pg 1-4. Hand in before sch tomorrow. 2) Some parents have been asking about the Pick and Tell test. Its an adaptation of Show and Tell. Pupils pick an object or picture and say abt 5 sentences or slightly more to describe it. They can use the 6 WH 1 H question words to decribe an object in more detail- Who, What, When, Why, Where, Which, How ( whatever is applicable) . The sample template is given for your son to decribe an animal. The Pick and Tell test will be carried out from Wednesday 23 - Friday 25 April next week. No marks will be given. A checklist will be given instead. 3) The Office has asked me to give a gentle reminder for all parents to log into the SNAAP app. There are 5 sets of parents who have not logged into it. Pls do so as soon as you can. All future mail and certain letters will be issued thru the app. If you need any clarification or if you have problems logging into the syystem,, pls contact the General Office. Thanks!

1) Parent to sign on cover sheet of brown file. Check that signatures are done for every unit from UNit 1 to 10. Do not remove the post-its on some pages (if you have). The post-its are there for the pupils to either fill in the dates or undone corrections or for parents to sign. Arrange all WS according to the contents page in front, starting with Unit 1 WS at the back and working up to Unit 10 on top, just under the contents page. Hand in brown file before sch tomorrow. 2) Arrange WS for yellow file according to contents page, starting from the first ws listed at the bottom. Parent to check and sign letters or WS, if not signed yet. Hand in yellow file before sch tomorrow. 3) Learn Spelling Unit 12 for tomorrow. 4) Do Word Search. Pass up tomorrow before sch. 5) Pick and Tell Template is given. Practise at home talking about different things. After a while, try describing things in 5 sentences , without using the template. You can use the 6W iH question words to help you. - Who, What, Where, When, Why, What and How. 6) Parent to sign Star Writers paper. 7) Do Pg 41 of FTGP. Hand in before sch tomorrow.

1) Learn Spelling Unit 11 for this Wed. 2) Parent to sign Writing bk. Re-write corrections for Writing bk using a blue pen on the left ( Re-write all sentences). Pls write neatly. 3) Re-write corrections for Write Right. (all ) Write in a paragraph with a two-fuinger spacing for the first line. 4) Bring colour pencils. 5) There will be a non-weighted ( no marks, just a checklist) AMODES test on Pick and Tell from next week. Pupils will be given a few pictures to choose from and they describe the picture they choose in about 5 sentences. They have a few mins to look at a template to help them answer. Then, they speak about the picture. The template sample will be given tomorrow to the pupils. Pls do practise with your child at home. Thanks!

1) Parents, pls take note that there will be a Listening AMODES test next Thursda 10 April. Pupils are to revise LS 7.5, 8.3 and 8.5 ( identifying initial consonants /v/, /(g)j/, and /j/ and initial blend /sm/, /fl/, /sk/ and /bl/ 2) We will be making a simple sandwich tomorrow. Your child will be given a piece of paper with the item(s) he has to bring for the session for his group only. Pls bring the food items tomorrow. Parents who are able to help oversee the activity are welcome to join us to prepare the arrangement of desks and food items for each group. Time of activity- 8.45 am. Thanks in advance for helping. 3)Brown files are returned today for revision. Bring back files next Thursday.
