Sch will start at usual time and end at 11.45 am. Recess will be from 9.15 am to 9.45 am. Pls bring along the shakers you have made. (You will need to decorate the pattern you have made (on a picec of Art paper with the twine) and paste it on an empty water bottle. Lastly, fill the empty bottle with any kind of seeds to form the shaker. ) 2) Bring a small bag - water bottle, snack, story book, pencil case, colour pencils, shaker 3) No homework. 1) Do Unit 11 Pg 1-4. Hand in before sch tomorrow. 2) Some parents have been asking about the Pick and Tell test. Its an adaptation of Show and Tell. Pupils pick an object or picture and say abt 5 sentences or slightly more to describe it. They can use the 6 WH 1 H question words to decribe an object in more detail- Who, What, When, Why, Where, Which, How ( whatever is applicable) . The sample template is given for your son to decribe an animal. The Pick and Tell test will be carried out from Wednesday 23 - Friday 25 April next week. No marks will be given. A checklist will be given instead. 3) The Office has asked me to give a gentle reminder for all parents to log into the SNAAP app. There are 5 sets of parents who have not logged into it. Pls do so as soon as you can. All future mail and certain letters will be issued thru the app. If you need any clarification or if you have problems logging into the syystem,, pls contact the General Office. Thanks!

They will be having a few lessons in the computer lab later in the year so I would really appreciate it if parents could help revise with the sons on these procedures. Majority of the pupils did not know how to type capital letters, do a 'control-alternate -delete' at the start -up and a shut down. 1) There have been a few queries regarding the bringing of the journal to school. Pupils cane keep the journal at home. AS and when, pupils are required to write entries for the journal, I will get them to write it in their homework diary and then , they will pass it up the following Monday before school. 2) Many pupils have still not handed in the Social Studies pupils. When I gave out the books yesterday, I relised that there were a few pupils who did not hand in their books earlier. It could be that these pupils have the books in their lockers or under the desks. 3) Pls revise Spelling ( Unit 3 and 4 ) for tomorrow. 4) A gentle reminder abt the class party on Thursday from 10 am to 10.50 am and the need for us to start clearing up at 10.50 am. Thanks! I will need parent volunteers to come and help us preapre the tables and the food before the party starts and also when it ends. Thanks! Pupils will leave their food items on their desks in the morning when they arrive so that the parent volunteers can retrieve the items from the pupils and prepare for the party.
